“PynkieSav R. Suite” is a set of six screen savers. It covers the next five time-unlimited shareware screen savers:

1.1. Operative System and DirectX
“PynkieSav R. Suite” works:
under Windows 2000/XP or later operative systems
with installed DirectX, version 8.1 or newer (You can download the newest version of DirectX from the Microsoft website at: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/directx/).
1.2. Hardware
“PynkieSav R. Suite” requires modern PC with:
minimum 256MB of RAM,
DirectX 8 compatible graphic card with at least 64MB of memory,
screen resolution of at least 800x600 and 65000 (16-bit) colors,
DirectX 8 compatible sound card.
Make sure all graphics and sound card drivers are up to date.
2. Installation and Uninstallation
To install “PynkieSav R. Suite” package, simply run the program PynkieSavR_Setup.exe. Follow the on-screen instructions. You can install the software anywhere you like but it is best to follow the default suggestion given. Once installation is completed, in the Start menu you will find a new program group where you can start Registration and PynkieSav R. dialog or read this ReadMe file (See Fig.1).
You can uninstall “PynkieSav R. Suite” with left-click on the Uninstall PynkieSav R shortcut that you can find in Start menu (Fig.1). Also, “PynkieSav R. Suite” can be uninstalled by starting unins***.exe that is placed in the folder where “PynkieSav R. Suite” is installed (Default is: %SYSTEMDRIVE% / Program Files/PynkieSav R).

“PynkieSav R. Suite” can be used free of charge. The unregistered version, though, has some limitations and shows textual messages when running the screen savers. To unlock the additional features, remove textual messages, and support the further development of the software, you are strongly recommended to register your copy of “PynkieSav R. Suite”. Registration will add the following features:
No textual messages when running screen savers.
More controls over the screen savers.
Full functionality of PynkieSav R. screen saver interactive (game) mode.
There are a number of ways in which you can register your copy of the program package that include credit cards, bank/wire transfers, checks, and cash-payment. The easiest way is to use online registration using a secure credit card payment system. Details can be found on the “PynkieSav R. Suite” registration web site:

To register your copy of “PynkieSav R. Suite” use the web site above or choose PynkieSav R. on the WEB shortcut that you can find in the Start menu (Fig.1).
For the registration procedure you should have your User ID. You will obtain your User ID by running Registration shortcut in the Start menu.
Once your registration is received an e-mail will be sent to you with the password and information on how to enter the password in the program.
To enter the password, again choose Registration from the Start menu. Type the name and the password and press OK. If you made no mistakes the program is registered.
4. PynkieSav R. Screen Saver Overview
After installation, PynkieSav R. becomes your active screen saver.
PynkieSav R. is an original screen saver with realistically animated little red fish named PynkieSav R.
In registered version PynkieSav R. can work in two modes, classical or interactive, upon your choice. When works in interactive mode, PynkieSav R. becomes very simple computer game (but, it’s not easy to complete it).
The first time you run PynkieSav R. you are asked weather you want to run the screen saver in classic or interactive (game) mode.
a) If you select interactive (game) mode then you should “feed” the fish once a day within 60 days.
If you forget to feed PynkieSav R., its health decreases and it can die...
If you can't fulfill your “duty” for some period, you can ask for “Friend's assistance”...

b) If you select classical mode, then PynkieSav R. works as simple screen saver like any other and you do not need to care about the fish.
4.1. Game Rules
The goal of the game (if you selected interactive mode) is to save PynkieSav R. for 60 days by daily feeding and so to prove your responsibility and reliability.
You can feed PynkieSav R. in Feeding dialog by pressing the FOOD button. Feeding dialog is a window that you can run by PynkieSav R. shortcut in the Start menu (Or by Desktop icon of the same name, if you selected to create it within the installation procedure).
If you don’t feed Pynkie within one day, its health will decrease for 33%.
Pynkie's disturbed health can be recovered by careful feeding, but slowly:
If Pynkie's health is between 67% and 100%, it will recover every day for: instantaneous health multiplied by 1,03.
If Pynkie's health is between 33% and 67%, it will recover daily for: instantaneous health multiplied by 1,05.
When Pynkie's health is under 50%, it becomes sick and transparent (to warn you for better care).
Pynkie also can die. This will happen if its health decreased under 33%.
If you are not able to feed the fish for some time (you must to travel or similar) you can ask for Friend's assistance by left-click on the FRIEND'S ASSISTANCE button. Then you will be asked for number of days you need help.
If you will be able to continue feeding Pynkie before asked help is finished, you can break it and continue the game from where it was interrupted.
If asked number of days is passed over then nobody cares about the fish and its health decreases.
You can ask Friend's assistance (and break it) unlimited number of times.
However, it remains permanently recorded how many times you asked for Friend's assistance.
4.2. User's Guide
Using of PynkieSav R. screen saver is very simple.
When the application is started for the first time, you can choose whether PynkieSav R. will work as classic or interactive screen saver (the game).
If classic mode is selected, using of PynkieSav R. is the same as using of any other standard screen saver.
In interactive (game) mode, the user should run Feeding dialog once a day to give food to the fish by left-click on the FOOD button.
If the user is unavailable to care about Pynkie because of some reason, he can free himself temporarily with left-click on FRIEND'S ASSISTANCE button (See Game Rules).
Feeding dialog is a window that you can run (Fig.1) by PynkieSav R. shortcut in the Start menu (Or by Desktop icon of the same name, if you selected to create it within the installation procedure).
4.2.1 Setting of the PyinkieSav R. Screen Saver
In the Control Panel>Display>Properties>Screen Saver>Settings user can change number of bubbles that can be displayed at the same time (Default number is 35).

Above setting of bubble number is provided not only to fit user's aesthetic requirements but to adjust the screen saver to user's computer performances. Namely, the better computer (with better graphic card and more of RAM memory) can support more bubbles then inferior one.
Besides the PinkieSav R., there are another five screen savers in the “PynkieSav R. Suite” package.
After the installation, you can find all of them in your system directory together with your prior existing screen savers. In registered version you can set their properties in the Control Pa-nel>Display>Properties>Screen Saver>Settings dialog (Fig.2).
5.1. MystifyFlashing Screen Saver
The movements of the shine balls that grow and flash create lovely chaos on your screen that can mystify you.
5.2. BaseStation
This screen saver uses simple animated spaceship (created for the SpaceWar game that is under development and is named Base Station) to travel through the stars. In registered version you can choose between two modes of its work.
5.3. RunDraw
Base Station is used again and it's randomly chosen moving paths create nice drawings on the screen. Different drawings will be obtained on the screen every time the screen saver restarts.
5.4. Firework
It is screen saver with uniformly distributed rockets. Randomly chosen rockets directions and lifetimes create always new and different fireworks. In registered version, you can choose one of four colors or to leave the program to select firework color automatically every time when starts.
5.5. SunSys
SunSys is freeware screen saver with more than fifty pictures of main objects of our Sun system. The pictures are obtained by free software Celestia 1.4.1.You can use, redistribute and/or modify SunSys under the terms of the GNU General Public License .
